Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rapki (“Rapki,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use any Rapki-branded mobile application that links to this policy (each, an “App”), related services, or this website (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to all current and future Rapki Apps. If an App provides a separate privacy notice, that notice applies to the extent it describes features or data practices specific to that App.
Summary
Rapki Apps are designed to keep as much data as possible on your device. Some Apps may offer hosted, synchronization, AI, account, or other online features. When you choose to use one of those features, we process the information needed to provide it. We do not sell personal information, use advertising SDKs, or use your information for targeted advertising.
Information we handle
The information we handle depends on the App and features you use. It may include:
- Content and activity. Information you create, submit, import, or generate in an App, together with related preferences, settings, progress, and feature activity. An App may store this information locally on your device.
- Account and service data. If an App offers hosted features, we may process an account or pseudonymous identifier, feature requests, timestamps, and usage data to provide, synchronize, secure, and enforce limits for those features.
- Optional credentials. If an App lets you supply a third-party API key or similar credential, it may be stored on your device using operating-system secure storage and sent to that provider only to validate it or complete a request you initiate. Unless the App says otherwise, Rapki does not store those optional credentials on its servers.
- Support messages. If you email us, we receive the information you include, such as your email address and message.
- Technical information. Our hosting and service providers may process IP address, request metadata, and security logs when you use online Services or visit this website. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How information is used
We use information only to:
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
- provide the App features you request;
- respond to support requests;
- comply with law; and
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not sell personal information or use it for interest-based advertising.
When information leaves your device
Information leaves your device only when you use a feature that requires it, such as hosted storage, synchronization, AI assistance, an account, support, or another online service. The relevant content and technical information may be processed by the service providers that operate those features. Where you use your own third-party API key, your request is sent directly to that provider. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We use Vercel to host this website. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, our Services, or the public. We do not otherwise share information for third parties’ independent marketing purposes.
Data stored on your device
Each App may store its local data, including content, drafts, preferences, and optional credentials, on your device. Check the relevant App’s settings for controls to remove local data. Uninstalling an App normally removes its local data, subject to your device and backup settings.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, security, or operational obligations. Locally stored information remains under your control until you remove it or uninstall the App.
To request deletion of information associated with a hosted App, visit our data-deletion request page or email privacy@rapki.com with the App name in the subject line. We may request information needed to verify and process the request. Deleting hosted data does not remove information held by a third-party provider under that provider’s own retention practices.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No service or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries where Rapki or its service providers operate. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Contact us to make a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date.
